SAN DIEGO (August 13, 2010) – Awarepoint Corporation, a provider of Zigbee-based networked real-time awareness solutions and real-time location system (RTLS) applications for hospitals, announced a new distributor contract with Wi Protect Pty. Ltd. of Sydney, Australia. This contract provides for distribution rights throughout Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. The company has recently contracted the first major RTLS public hospital project in Victoria, Australia.

Grand Rapids, MI (August 9, 2010) - Skytron, a division of the KMW Group, Inc., today announced that Spectrum Health has successfully implemented the company's Real-time Location (RTLS) collaborative solution, powered by Awarepoint and Intelligent InSites, to automatically track and manage over 5,300 hospital assets throughout its downtown and cross town campuses, inclusive of 1.8 million square feet for Butterworth Hospital, Fred and Lenna Meijer Heart Center, and Helen DeVos Women and Children's Center and Blodgett Memorial Hospital.
